Thames Valley Archaeological Services are currently undertaking
excavations at Northbrook College. They are looking for volunteers to
assist with excavating those features which have already been sectioned
and recorded. So it will involve troweling and possibly light
'mattocking'.
This is on-going work, so start date is ASAP.
